Having gotten a foothold on his preferences in the dubstep realm over the next 18 months Dan Snakehead established a residency at the Cecil Hotel in Vancouver B.C. under Jamie Van Goulden and Ministry of Sound in 2010. Playing electro house inside and dubstep at outdoor underground events he became sought after for a long list of shows in and around the Vancouver area during the frenzy of the Vancouver Olympics. It was time (he felt) a sequel to his first dubstep mix was in order, having curated the balance between his own taste and that of the crowds he was playing for. Still enjoying the positive reception of the previous mix he decided not to mess with the formula and continue toward remixes and harmonics while keeping the "dirty shoes" theme representing the outdoor all night events he found himself performing and cherishing with new found frequency.
