Description
Hey Party People,
For this week's mix, I went down a fun rabbit hole of "Movie Soundtrack" songs.
I reviewed roughly 5,000 tracks (listening for 5-10 seconds each). I found some gems that I haven't used before.
About 20 'soundtrack favorites' are in this mix. I tried to avoid being sterotypical (like using Eye of the Tiger, Footloose, etc), because I've used those alot in other mixes.
The goal was to dig up songs that would be instantly recognizable, yet people haven't heard in years.
Please note that not every song is from a movie, but all songs have 'movie soundtrack' feel to them. Also, these are pop songs. No movie scores.
Featuring hits by Madonna, Huey Lewis, Prince, Justin Timberlake, Capitol City, Flo-Rida, MJ, Walk the Moon, Outkast, Caesars, Nelly Frutado, Aerosmith, Sweedish House Mafia, Jess Glyne, Bonnie Tyler, Shania Twain, Cyndi Lauper, Bruno Mars, Billy Ocean, Billy Joel and more!
BPM 129 and builds to 140 (in the last 10 min).
PG lyrics, safe for all ages.
