This week I wanted to create something with a little more spark than the traditional hip hop playlists.
Given the popularity of 'Baltimore club' songs like "Rich Baby Daddy" (Drake and Sexyy Red) and "I wanna rock" (Lil Uzi Vert), I thought I'd be fun to include some of that bouncy B-More style and 90's Miami Bass music in a mix. Some parts have a dash of EDM, but the overall vibe is Hip Hop/RnB.
This hard hitting mix features hits by Lil Uzi Vert, Sexy Redd, Megan the Stallion, Nikki Minaj, 2 Live Crew, Duice, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Usher, Beyonce, Meek Mill, Rich Hommie Quan, Sheck Wes, Lil Wayne, French Montana, and more!
The first 35 minutes are very uptempo (140 BPM), then it shifts to a traditional Hip Hop flow (85 BPM that gradually builds to 105 BPM in the final 10 minutes).
Lyrics are clean but the subject matter is edgy (PG-13).
