We welcomed Nepalese musician Ganga Thapa & his band Namlo onto A World In London for their radio debut with DJ Ritu.
SOAS alumnus & composer Ganga brought his homeland into the studio with poetic lyrics and melodies inspired by Himalayan foothills & mountains, whilst weaving a cross-cultural musical soundscape with influences from West Africa to South America.
Performing live on Resonance FM were bandleader and lead vocalist Ganga Thapa on classical guitar, Shreya Rai on vocals, Siemy Di playing Cajon, John Martin on tenor saxophone and Robyn Hemmings on double-bass.
