In 2020 we were able to celebrate the 50th anniversary of The Loft before the pandemic fully struck. Sadly we cannot dance together this year but I expect many of us are dreaming of when we can meet again, reliving past parties in our minds. The Loft means so much to us. It was an honour to musically host the opening of the party, the first bardo of our 9 hour musical journey. As a Virgo, I dutifully wrote down the records played in order after the party, and as we cannot gather together this year, they are replayed here in order to commemorate this year's anniversary. The records tell a story through words, the music patiently building whilst old friends meet - a selection that is more yin than yang. To celebrate all 50 years of music, most of these are records David played in the early/mid-70s, some from 647 Broadway, the Loft David continued to dream about until his passing.
