Melodica by Chris Coco. The mix of sounds from mellow Balearic to the deepest house via electronica and oddities; the juxtaposition of new and old; and the inclusive, musical family it has built, have made Chris Coco’s weekly radio broadcast a bit of a staple for many.
Here we are in 2024 for the first episode of the year and a properly mixed bag of tunes that have appeared from various investigations and Shazam sessions over the party period. Which translates as, here are some tunes that are new to me, but mostly not new, that I have heard or discovered somewhere. Melodica, proof, if we ever needed any, that music is life.
