Melodica by Chris Coco. The mix of sounds from mellow Balearic to the deepest house via electronica and oddities; the juxtaposition of new and old; and the inclusive, musical family it has built, have made Chris Coco’s weekly radio broadcast a bit of a staple for many.
This Episode... A couple of months ago Rob Da Bank asked me to make a mix for his sauna. I tried to make something connected to nature and the English countryside but also somehow ‘other', 'more than' and even slightly spiritual, joyful, beautiful. So it’s not plinky music for saunas, it’s music as intense as the sauna experience. It’s been touring around playing inside that hot box, but now it feels like time to share the music on the show. So here we go.
