Documenta is an exhibition of contemporary art which takes place every five years in Kassel, Germany. My first documenta was documenta 11 in 2002. One event related to the Documenta was a dj gig by DJ Spooky in the old 50s Ballsaal at Hotel Reiss (google for photos to see what a great venue this was). DJ Spooky, who had already contributed mixes to the BTTB-X-Series in 1999 and 2001, handed me a mix he just recorded, and that mix became X-250. Are the lights out? Good. Now just be quiet and let's enjoy the mix!
