With this month's passing of Jamaican sax player Cedric 'Im' Brooks, we recall his legacy as not just another reggae musician, but a true ambassador of what he himself referred to as "third world" music. I pay a small tribute to him at the beginning of this new mix, then leading into other artists from genres that he touched on (and was influenced by), such as Afrobeat and Carribean funk and disco. The end result is another 60 minutes of me mixing beats and blurring the lines.
