This is a Recycled resurgence. It’s been far too long since the last episode of “Recycled Funk”, but I’ve stayed productive. This is the first mix I’ve put together using Serato’s new stems feature. It’s a great asset to any music junkie like myself who likes to mix things up. I decided to tap into one of my favorite current groups, Khruangbin. They’ve been bringing the Texas heat ever since they stepped on the music scene. Jazzy, soulful, funky vibes, just the way I like it. I grabbed a handful of some of my fav vocal tracks and I'm happy to share the results with everyone for this special Recycled Funk blend mix. This is a classic DJ blend mix, which means there is no overdub remix style action here. I just used Serato’s stem feature to remove instruments or vocals to mix two tracks together, and keep tempos synced as a live DJ does. So if you’re as big a fan of Khruangbin, tune in!
