At the end of a calendar year, it’s normal and somewhat expected for one to reflect on the year that’s ending and look forward to the one approaching. I honestly don’t know where to begin that introspective convo this time around. That’s not completely true but um, yeah…2020 can kick rocks. It’s not just the end of a year, but also a decade. The first 20 years of this new century/millennium. The information age, the internet, iPods & mp3’s, social media, so on and so on. On a professional level the new century has been good to me. Being able to call music my full time job is a tremendous blessing, or so it was before a pandemic hit. But I’m optimistic about my future plans which should have me producing a lot more and DJ’ing a lot less. I can live with that! 2020 has been historic enough for all of us to reflect on. Add the other 19yrs and oh yeah…heavy stuff!...
