Mr Dan Digs Diana Ross "Brown Baby"

We are proud to present the first edition of this new mix series dedicated to the great art of sampling.

We start things off with a splendid track from the queen, Diana Ross, titled "Medley: Brown Baby / Save The Children", but we really put the emphasis on the first part. "Brown Baby" is actually a cover of a superb song released in 1960 by Oscar Brown Jr. The soulful rendition from Miss Ross has been sampled multiple times by artists like Action Bronson (Falside), GURU, & Real Live (K-Def).
