Description
Mick Jagger had the guts to start a new superband called Superheavy. A project with Dave Stewart (Eurythmics), A.R. Rahman (who sold over 100 mln records around the world) , soul diva Josh Stone and Damian Marley (son of the king of reggae).
Their debut album might be the best of 2011 and contains some great reggae influenced songs.
In this radioshow you can also listen to some reggae covers of Rolling Stones' classics by great reggae legends like Ken Boothe and Gregory Isaacs.
Peter Tosh was the first artist on the Rolling Stones label and had a millionseller hit with Don't look back.
We go back to the sixties with The Skankin' Monks and their remix of Tee Set's Ma Belle Amie www.theskankinmonks.com
