Originally trained as a classical saxophonist before turning to electronic production in 2012, Thylacine blends field recordings, acoustic instruments, and electronic textures to create music that feels both intimate and expansive. His work often reflects the places that shape it, from lengthy journeys on the Trans-Siberian Railway to remote landscapes across the globe, and he has collaborated with various artists and composed soundtracks for film and television.
