Pedro Sanmartín, also known as Basic Shape, was born in Barcelona in 1981 and has always approached art and music as ways of inhabiting and experiencing the world. With a background in Fine Arts, he naturally gravitated toward music production and vinyl mixing, treating it as craft and method rather than mere performance.
