CAJ is DJ/Producer duo based in Edinburgh, Scotland and consists of good friends Charlie Craig & Johnny Smith. Both Johnny and Charlie have known each other for around 4/5 years and have both expressed interest in their musical influences when connecting on the Edinburgh scene. Their music has taken heavy influences from the minimal/house scene. Artists like John Dimas, io Mulen are were both have said to taken their musical style from. The pair decided to bring these influences together at around the end of 2019 and both decided to form a partnership to showcase their sound.
They had their first release in April (2020) on interplanetare lab records with a second EP following quickly on Reverbs Records (May 2020). Keep up to date via Instagram/ Facebook and also soundcloud for guest mixes and recorded sets.
