Peter North is a fixture on the roots music scene; for decades, he’s been a journalist, radio/television personality, and a producer/promoter of live music. He spent many years as Artistic Director for the Salmon Arm Roots & Blues Festival, wrote for the Edmonton Journal, hosted several different shows over 40 years at CKUA, produced the acoustic blues series Front Porch Roots Revue, and along with Holger Petersen, was co-executive producer on the seminal Canadian album, The Gift: A Tribute to Ian Tyson.
Peter currently produces the Dead Ends Live festival in Edmonton. He will share stories and songs from artists who have played his Dead Ends Fest, and some who will appear at the Dead Ends Live weekend at Edmonton’s Yardbird Suite (April 12 & 13)
