Today we honour the creative work of French composer Gabriel Fauré, who was born May 12, 1845 and who died November 4, 1924 - 100 years ago this coming Monday. We work through some of Fauré's works - from clarinet to voice, strings to piano, choral to orchestral. As always we feature Canadian musicians performing these pieces! A shout out to two Edmonton groups who are performing Fauré next week - Da Camera Singers and Richard Eaton Singers.
