I got the bittersweet news that one of my faves, Jason and the Scorchers, are hanging it up after almost 41 years of cowpunk service. Fortunately, the end is not due to tragedy or anything awful, just a simple decision to retire. Sad as that may be for myself and the legions of JATS fans worldwide, I wish them success in whatever comes next.
