Bestimix 143: Luca Pilato and Jordan McKinlay

Bestimix presents the 2nd Common People takeover, this time from Junk residents Luca Pilato and Jordan McKinlay who will play on Saturday in the Junk Big Top takeover.

Luca Pilato and Jordan McKinlay are two of Junk’s longest serving residents. Between them they’ve shared the decks with numerous artists from Eats Everything to Levon Vincent and on nights with secretsundaze, Circoloco and Cocoon. They’re also members of the Junk team who collectively have been pushing the club towards the numerous successes they’ve achieved over the past 10 years including winning DJ Mag’s “Best Small Club” award and touring with Junk Department (their external events arm) across the globe with Chicago, Berlin, Reykjavik, Amsterdam, Ibiza and London amongst some of their destinations. The pair are true music lovers and discoverers, seeking out those hidden gems amongst the crates and never falling into the trap of playing the latest hype records...
