Bestimix 107: Flying White Dots - Barracuda

The Bestimix this week is something slightly different and is an artistic album with a particularly gorgeous twist. We're glad to be bringing this to you as it's a very enjoyable long player that will have you looking west to beautiful peachy sunsets.

Flying White Dots has been releasing web only albums of distinctive and unique mid-tempo and down-tempo mash-ups which typically blend retro rock and soul vocals with psychedelic and electronic sounds.

Barracuda, his first album since 2009, is a blend of smooth retro West Coast classic songs re-engineered and juxtaposed to form a cosmic sonic journey.

FWD is one of Bestival's best kept secrets and has appeared in the Ambient Forest and Wishing Tree since their inception and will be back at both in 2013.
