Our latest Bestimix is from new talent BareSkin, who presents a superb mix for us and you to enjoy.
Josh aka BareSkin brought you his debut EP ‘Flow’ on Losking Suki which received wide spread critical acclaim-four tracks of synth heavy, garage-y tinged ,UK sounding club weapons. So impressed with his debut, the next instalment from Bareskin was fast-tracked to Hypercolour for his ‘Eyes’ EP. He made his return to the roost in November with ‘Distorted Symmetry’ , evoking shades of Mood II Swing at their dubbiest, with some extra-terrestrial fluttering's and deft keys holding up another cracking female vox line.
Having already frequented haunts such as Fabric, Stealth Nottingham, La Machine in Paris and ventured as far afield as Tel-Aviv –for a young man of just 19, his three piece band ‘Wire People’ have already been picked up by a major -the now Leeds based artist has quickly demonstrated his appetite to explore.
