And much as you'll find everything from wigged out psychedelia to post-dubstep via acoustic folk, gazillion-miles-an-hour jump-up polka and majestic heart-tugging goth-pop at Bestival, likewise our exclusive Bestimixes run the genre-trashing gauntlet. Our latest, compiled by punk-folk revelers Skinny Lister, being a case in point. As the band prepare to unleash their debut album (produced by Bat For Lashes and James Yorkston expert knob-twiddler David Wrench) on an unsuspecting world later this year, this lot give us the skinny (sorry!) on what makes 'em tick with this glorious selection of both classic and contemporary folk and rock, featuring the well known likes of The Libertines, The Smiths, The Pogues and The Clash alongside some of the band's old friends.
