Scream if you wanna go faster people cos we're taking a trip back to the old-school, to a time of hyper-kinetic basslines, ridiculous sped-up diva vocals, Vicks, FBI jackets, smoke machines, whistle-blowing and glow-sticks (oh, we still have those) courtesy of our latest Bestimix, a hardcore-strewn rave era throwback.

DJ Shepdog may be best-known for his hip hop & reggae mash-ups and his NICE UP! blog, but he's an old school raver at heart. Perhaps too young to experience it first hand (he was only 13 at the time), he nonetheless raved vicariously via mixtapes passed around by friends older brothers, saving up his pocket money for the odd 12" and at a weekly under 18s rave night in his home town of Hull. You know the score...
