Bestimix 55: DJ Rastacore

Bestival may be a British festival but part of our mission is to spread musical good times and madcap festi madness around the world and, in turn, showcase global sounds both at our annual shindig and right here, on the Bestimix(cloud). Our latest mix is a case in point, a brilliant showcase of Latin American drum & bass, dancehall, dubstep and low-end soundsystem biz by Buenos Aires, Argentina DJ and producer Rastacore aka Alejo Gonzalez. You might not recognise any of the tunes but what's more exciting than discovering something totally new, it's part of what we're all about at Bestival, and what better time to get in the South American spirit than when the sun's blazing and the weekend is creeping ever closer!
