"My love story with Northern started pretty much from birth! Having two soulful parents meant growing up around the Stafford TOTW, 100 Club, Crossover and Motown sounds. I was collecting Motown records at the age of 12; my soul is my life and my life was my soul and I couldn’t envisage it any other way. My first serious set was at Rugby Soul Club in February 2012, at the tender 14. I owe Sian and Dean (the promoters of Rugby) a lot as Rugby is where it all took off for me. Since then I’ve been DJing all-over; Neil Rushton’s Soulvation Weekender at Westward Ho! Hinckley Soul-Nights, Nuneaton All-Nighter, Rugby All-Nighter, plus many more, I am a young up and coming DJ, and seem to be rapidly making a name for myself! My love of soul is totally across the board from Northern classics, forgotten oldies, current spins, 70's crossover, underplayed, RnB and Motown."
