"I first put my hands on a mixer in 1996-7 when I was part of a weekly night called Truth and Soul, Inc. in Seattle. I have since then DJ'd across Italy and in the UK, in the US and now in Australia where I live. My style encompasses rare tunes from the 50s and 60s across a variety of genres that I call "soul" including jazz, exotica, black rock and roll, original R&B, latin, popcorn oldies and tittyshakers. I am a firm believer in playing great original tunes on 45 and I think young DJs should avoid buying the "hits" on repro and focus on developing their own taste with wild and wonderful cheap 45s!!! You can find me playing in my current home town of Sydney at the Royal Shakedown in Surry Hills once a month or at a number of one off gigs in and out of town"
