Dan Dynomite - Straight From The Play Box

Dan Dynomite (Tramp Records/Germany) is one of the few record collectors who are concentrating on the deep, atmospheric, heavy funk sound. Dan discovered soul & funk records from the late '60s/early 70s and became a collector.
“I was looking for more unknown and rarer stuff and finally ended up with a flat full of quality funk and soul records!”
His passion for vinyl and quality funk music got him in contact with one of the most famous rare groove DJs in Germany “Tobias Kirmayer”,
“We both have the same understanding for music, the value of vinyl records and furthermore, we almost have the same taste when it comes to raw soul and funk music",
So they decided to compile a joint selection of some of their favourite funk recordings. In 2011 they released the first issue of the “Feeling Nice” series on “Tramp Records” followed by Volume two in October 2013. This guy is pure ‘Dynomite’!
