Alberto Folpower began his soulful journey sometime around 1984 when he heard Bobby Sheen’s “Doctor Love” for the first time. Soon after, he realized there was no turning back, and began collecting rare American soul music on 45rpm vinyl full-stop.
Since the 80s, Alberto has DJ’d at verious events, both in the mod and scooterist communities, as well as many of the on-going allnighter events in and around Italy. He has been a resident at Rototom, and has shared the stage with the likes of Massive Attack, Ninja Tune, Nuphonic, among others. He is currently the promoter and resident DJ at the popular Cannonball Allnighters in Emilia, hosting the best Italian and European DJs on the soul scene.
