In the early days of my online life, I found the Outernational rastas had picked up where dub reggae left off when Jamaica's artists opted for dancehall, toasting and rapping instead. This is ultra style … a collection unrestrained by ideology or fashion. The theme of this Independence Day show is, of course, freedom -- played out in music which encourages you always to be unfettered; music which asserts your right to do nothing, ecstatically; music which urges you to combine physicality and spirituality in celebrating this life and which blesses your intention to be one with the world around you.
