Too Tight - The Money Funk (2011 Rwrk)

Looks like it's time to reload this one, in response to the current financial crisis (the one that's being chosen instead of just being found on our doorstep to our terrified surprise.) This show was first published in January 2009, when we were looking down what we thought was the biggest financial gun barrel out there … little did we know.

At the time, my theme was "Hey, no panic, we've been here before" -- keeping in mind that the Simply Red tune dates from the mid-80s and "Money Changes Everything" from The Brains is from the 70s. I mean, when is money NOT a problem? So it's never a bad time to think about how to survive with a smile on your face -- or at least a song in your heart -- even when money's too tight to mention.

The show has been reworked somewhat from its original presentation ... particularly apt this time around are the tidbits from Marcel's Gamblers Delight and the priceless opener from Fila Brazillia, "Whose Money" ... whose money, indeed.
