Two thoughts: To be in transit is to be on the move -- here today, gone tomorrow … whereas Venus traditionally stands for desire itself. Put them together & you have some shorthand for the human condition: the prime goal of our lives, even if reached, is ours only temporarily. Thus it will also be with the celestial show set for June 5-6, 2012: the Transit of Venus, a display which won’t be repeated in this century.
