Continuing the oldie but goody series of uploads, another from the vaults. Recorded during a baking hot Manchester summer (ehh ..???), or rather, recorded FOR a baking hot New York summer. Tim Sweeney was kind enough to ask for a mix for his now legendary radio show.
Recorded just after I’d called time on the Cosmic Alphonsus series of mixes, and just around the time I was asked by Moonboots & Jason to warm up for Daniele Baldelli at the Aficionado 10th birthday party. What do you mean “are you shitting yourself?”, I always shake uncontrollably when I DJ! I think I played the sequence of records I the middle of the mix before he went on, but I did ‘manage’ my nerves buy drinking a crate of beer while DJing, so my recollection is hazy at best.
