Hey music lovers … 😎💜⚡️🔊 Apologies for the lack of shows recently, and so sorry this one is so late being uploaded. It was good to be back for my last radio show of the year, and have a look back on some of my favourite releases from last year (although I have to say, 2023 was another stinker, apart from the music).
Really hard to squeeze everything in, and lots I had to leave out – no Sault, Little Simz, Steve Mason, Penguin Café, Matthew Halsall, those Sheila Chandra reissues, loads of library reissues and that Amalcolm McLaren reissue on Be With. Maybe my next show will have to include all of those great records?
But look at what we did get!
