A very special show this week as I was joined in the studio by dear friend and fellow Balearic beard enthusiast Jolyon Green.
Jo and I have been friends since the early noughties, when we used to hang out on the old DJ History forum, discussing obscure European pop B-sides. He was a former Low Life resident, forming a formidable double act with Matthew Burgess – like Rocky & Diesel but weirder! Together they had the unenviable task of following myself and Moonboots in compiling one of the Claremont 56 Originals series. They did an alright job to! Almost as good as out one!
He’s one of my favourite selectors, and I’m sure you will agree his choices today were off the scale amazeballs – I owned only 2 of the bloody things!
