Hey music lovers … 😎💜⚡️🔊 Bit of a special show this week, as I only realised when I arrived at the studio that it’s a year (-1 day) since I began this series of solo radio shows on 1BTN. It all kicked off on Friday 6th May 2022, so huge thanks to all of you who’ve tuned in since. As well as that excitement, it was a tidal wave of tributes, as it was my first chance to play my haul from last week’s Record Store Day, it was 35 year anniversaries for two of my favourite albums, Sade’s “Stronger Than Pride” and Prince’s “Lovesexy” (the only coronation we’ll be celebrating is his Royal Badness), and the week of the Eurovision Song Contest, so I decided to make the 2nd half of the show an alternative Euro-Vision – so lots of ‘foreign muck’!
