Today’s show was really hard to do in light of the double whammy of just bloody awful news this week. I decided the only thing that would get me through was to play some classic Cafe Del Mar tape favourites, and a few new things that fitted the bill. I also had to include something from Dani and something from Ashely, although I struggled to get through announcing the track Danielle sang on and fucked up the introduction, as I think I was about to start crying on air – not a very professional vibe.
Anyway, I got through it, and listening to music did make me feel a little better. Sort of happy/sad!
Sending my love to everyone who knew Dani. The world is a much poorer place without her in it.
Sending huge love and thanks to Ashley and Jo as well at this difficult time. I know you’ll both get through this!
