A bittersweet mix, as it is the last set I played with Yo, the best zoddamn kitty, the most loving, cuddling, plurring, and raving companion that KB and I have ever had... or could imagine. 😻
Every radio show I've played, every party at the GreeneHouse, Yo was just a few feet away from the decks, a true... techYO fan, with her magical cosmic kitteh vibes. 💫
Not long before playing this show, little Yo was diagnosed with late stage cancer, so I knew this would be our last set together. True to form, just as I was soundchecking and getting ready to start, Yo trotted over to the booth and hopped right up onto her favorite cushioned stool, just 3 feet away from me, and there she stayed for the entire set.
A lot of emotion in this journey through sadness and joy. 💔
