Chillcast #363: Young + Beautiful

I thought about calling this week’s one hour episode “Tiny Violins” because I selected an awful lot of songs with strings in them, but decided instead to name it after the Lana Del Rey song that played such a haunting role in the soundtrack of The Great Gatsby. I was partly inspired by the bittersweet beauty of that film while selecting this playlist, as the overall sound is much more moody than upbeat. Its an eclectic set, genre wise, with hints of vintage music and a nostalgic feeling overall.
