Feeling the need to reconnect in this challenging time with what is important and put out some feel good vibes. Last weeks been thinking about everything that brought us to this point. This is a playlist that represents lost of the music that shaped my tastes, PRE-House. Thinking of not just music but also the people and the places that came before paving the way. Those early little glimpses of scenes through record stores, pirate radio or TV interviews before I got involved or was too young, older friends that were already putting out the vibes with their music, retro DJ sets from the likes of Greg Wilson, Grandmaster Flash, Larry Levan etc. It's all in here, a few bits are obvious some others more subtle.
I hope you enjoy this podcast as much as I did putting it together.
