The cohort of soaring young talent that has taken the UK Jazz scene and, in particular, the London element to global prominence would be a much poorer place without Jazz re:freshed and people like Gordon and Gillian Wedderburn, the beautiful, humble souls behind GW Jazz.
With their drive, determination and enthusiasm, everyone from Levitation Orchestra to Moses Boyd, Shabaka Hutchings to Nubya Garcia, Cassie Kinoshi, SEED Ensemble, Sheila M. Maurice-Grey and so many more have been given early profile, support and space to play, perform and grow.
And, lovely people that they are, I'm truly delighted to say that GW Jazz have gifted us all a gorgeous guest mix for this week's show!!!!!!!
