With glorious music from everywhere and everywhen, including an essential tribute to Wayne Shorter (RIEP), touching in on his work with the Jazz Messengers, Gil Evans, Milles Davis, his solo work, stunning interpretations of his compositions by Kyoto Jazz Sextet and Dadisi Komolafe and even his work with Steely Dan.
All that alongside Bobby Few, The Nottingham Jazz Orchestra, Alan Lorber, Jules Brennan, Yamasuki!, Eddie Gale, beaautiful new music from Ilario Ferrari & Ondanueve String Quartet and a version of "Watarase" that will knock you sideways.
