Mark GV Taylor has shaped and influenced the tastes of many of us, whether through DJing from the 90s onwards, his incredible HappyJazz shows with Adrian Leach, as a compiler for Blue Note and BBE, or his regular work at Spritland and beyond with his and George Arthur's "Reference Point".

My God, the man has tunes. I'm delighted, humbled and just smiling at the idea that we've made this happen. A deep, scarce and glorious mix of jazz from around the world.

And NO, that pic is NOT me. And YES, I tried to find one of him smiling. Turns out that it was Alan Titchmarsh.
