Live @ Broke(n) - SW!TCH Series [beta] :: 11.6.2013
[Dedicated to my no'phew: Psykik]
From the promoters: "This evening will feature 6 talented DJs who will place a collection of digital tracks on a flash drive which will then be picked at random out of a "hat" by each DJs. They then have 30 mins to put a mix together to perform in 45 min sets. Time slots are also picked out randomly."
I had the pleasure of drawing Indy's own dub-wünderkind DJ Psynapse's thumbdrive, who fortunate for me, was kind enough to put about 30 of the prettiest dub tracks that I've heard in a long time: deep, spacey, groovy, layered -- and a decided lack of fax machines raping android sheep. I'd love to have been able to play them all; I perhaps got through half of them. I'll try to lock down the tracklisting from the person whose Serato and lappy I used, but I can make no promises.
