As mentioned previously, one of the coolest things about where I work is the company's belief in self-expression and creativity. There are entire communication channels dedicated to pet pics, jokes, and even a VENTING CHANNEL. I've been taking advantage of this employee-friendly attitude by posting a "Morning Mellow" track every day.
Picks 1026 through 1050 took some time to gel in my brain, but the result flows pretty nicely. We begin with instrumental hip hop, gradually drifting into dub techno and slow beat ambient before a brief and wonderfully chilly visit from Clock DVA. Some drum n' bass follows, eventually giving way to ambient and an extended, enhanced environmental recording. We wind things up with some neo-soul-inflected hip hop. A pleasant end to the journey.
