We wish everyone a Happy New Year as doctors were busy over Christmas with so much illness, I hope those who were ill over the yule period are now fully recovered.
We begin our news stories with the British courier firm, City Link, being put into administration on Christmas Eve, waiting until the work force had completed delivering their Christmas consignments while leaving the workers union to contact their members to give them the bad news that they no longer had a job. Our second news story comes from Germany where a teacher, contracted by a religious organisation, was found to be moonlighting, having a second job as a porn star and is now fighting against her dismissal. And we end in Russia where a 12-year-old school boy got his Joseph's mixed up. Having been given the part of Joseph of Nazareth in the school nativity play, he arrived in costume as Joseph Stalin.
The Weird News Weekly Stupid Celebrity of the Week Award goes to British Socialite, Tara Palmer Tomkinson.
