Fueled by an enduring love for both music and thoughtful design, Bas has spent years working behind the scenes at festivals—building on scenographies. More recently, however, he’s also made the leap to the decks.
Initially spotted as one half of the DJ duo Deux Chevaux (yes, like the car—only with more bass) or under Radio Karibu (a tuktuk that’s also a mobile discobar), Bas now also navigates his own sonic journey. Spinning vinyl like it’s still 1994, he digs deep through crates in search of moody, mystical gems as well as punchy house records designed to make you sweat—not that he’s watching, of course.
From twilight grooves to sunrise euphoria, Bas tells musical stories that wobble somewhere between introspective and utterly danceable. With a slightly dusty record bag and a sharp ear, he’s just getting started.
