Götz Bühler presents: Jazzahead! (10 February 2026)

The German Jazz Expo is the focus of this edition of jazzahead! on OneJazz. Artistic Advisor Götz Bühler presents the eight jury selected bands and artists playing showcases at jazzahead! 2026 in April in Bremen, Germany - from fusionistic favorites Re:Calamari via electronic experimenters Crutches to vocalist Sara Decker and her all-female ensemble Expand, saxophonist Kristian Brodersen and the "Glasperlenspiel" of her Kristina 4, little-big Bonsai with "Big Schlepp" straight from the "Glashaus", the Hip Hop-spiced Spoken Word-Jazz of Sorvina and the universal grooves of producer/keyboardist Àbasé, both Berlin based, as well as trumpeter Richard Koch and his uniquely folksy "Rays of Light". Also featured: an interior outro with a Swedish motto.
