Götz Bühler presents: Jazz thing (25 November 2024)

The new almost-December mixtape from the editorial team of German magazine Jazz thing presents new music by artists like Johannes Enders with a Pharoah Sanders tribute featuring Billy Hart, a new album from Tom Harrell, Leipzig based quartet Pauline Réage, Sebastian Studnitzky with a live recording of his work "Memento Odesa", guitarist Wolfgang Muthspiel solo, the "Electric Stories" of keyboardist Sebastian Gahler, Adrian Younge on a trip to Sao Paolo, Camerounian troubadour Jeano Elong, as well as fond musical memories of Quincy Jones, Lou Donaldson, and Roy Haynes.
