Daniel Spicer has presented his The Mystery Lesson since 2008, showcasing new releases in free-jazz and the outer limits of improvised music. The show has appeared on a number of FM stations and online platforms over the years and now, very much at home here on One Jazz.
Another hour of hot new free jazz and improvised music including three tracks with guitar in the mix, a pair of newly unearthed archival tracks by Roy Haynes and John Surman plus scalding noise puke from Wolf Eyes with Anthony Braxton.
